Then again, some women let their personal feelings and egos blind their thoughts whether the man they like likes them back. If you have been asking yourself the question ‘Does he like me?’ this short helpful quiz will give you an ultimate unbiased answer.

The quiz will ask you 10 questions about your relationship. To get the most accurate result, answer as honestly as you can, then read below for our reasoning behind the questions asked and a guide to the strongest signs he likes you.

Signs he likes you – The definitive list

  1. He initiates conversation

Who usually texts/calls the other person first?

If a man likes you then he will want to get your attention. One of the ways to do this is to find any excuse to start talking to you. It could be just a quick text asking you how you are or an invitation to meet up, but if you are the one who always has to prompt conversation with him, he unfortunately is probably not that interested in you, especially if he takes a while to respond. If you both text and call each other an equal amount it is clear that you both want the other’s attention and enjoy speaking to each other.

  1. He listens to you and remembers what you say

Does he remember your likes and dislikes?

If you tell your date about your likes and dislikes and they often take note and act upon them, they are showing you that they care about you. By remembering your preferences, it shows that he is listening to you and it means you’re on his mind.

  1. He finds excuses to touch you

Does he touch you often? As in touching your leg, arm, hand etc.?

You can tell a lot about what someone is thinking and feeling just by watching their body language carefully. If he often finds a reason to touch you, such as an ‘accidental’ lingering stroke when he brushes against your arm or by giving a warm hug when you say hello, it’s a sign he likes you. It’s natural for a man to want to feel close and sensual with a woman they like. Physical contact promotes a feeling of intimacy and if he reaches for your hand to hold, it’s a sign that he’s comfortable and proud that you are together.

  1. He can’t take his eyes off you

Does he look at you when he thinks you’re not looking?

  1. He maintains good eye contact with you

When you talk to him, where does he look?

If you have just met, he may look away every time he catches you looking at him. If his head tilts towards yours or if he leans into you whilst you look at each other, these are further signs he likes you.

  1. He finds your jokes funny

Does he laugh at your jokes?

If your date is really into you, he will show that he thinks you are entertaining by laughing at your jokes, even when they are bad. However, if he isn’t interested in you, then he probably won’t find humour in what you say even if it’s your best material. The psychologist Norman Li explains this in his article on humour for Psychology Today, where he theorises that, “a humorous exchange feels good because it indicates that the people who we like also like us. On the flipside, a failed humor attempt can sting not necessarily because our joke is being rejected but because we are being rejected.”

  1. He introduces you to his friends or family

Has he introduced you to his friends or family?

In the early stages of the relationship it is normal to only see each other on a date night, but as the relationship becomes more serious the boundaries of your separate lives should start to blur. If he invites you out with his friends or has even introduced you to his family, it’s a sure sign he likes you.

  1. He thinks you have a future together

Does he include you in his plans?

If he shows signs of opening up to talk about relationship, it shows that he cares about you for the long-term. He wants to make your relationship work. Making long term relationship plans means that he wants to have you in his life and he doesn’t want to let you go anytime soon.
